Rug Care Has Always Been More Than Cleaning
Our work began with learning the hands-on craft of rug restoration, then grew into stain treatment, professional washing, and long-term rug care. Today, Master Carpet Cleaning brings decades of experience to every rug we handle, whether it is a fine antique, a cherished heirloom, or an everyday area rug.
Experience Changes the Way You Look at a Rug
Our journey began in 1979 with the craft of rug restoration. While living in Paris, we had the opportunity to work with antique and highly valuable rugs, including projects involving rugs associated with the Louvre.
Those experiences taught us that caring for something valuable requires patience, precision, responsibility, and above all, no shortcuts.
After immigrating to Canada, we continued developing our expertise in professional rug cleaning and care. In 2011, that experience became Master Carpet Cleaning.
Since then, we have cared for thousands of rugs and had the privilege of working with homeowners, interior designers, and clients referred through ELTE.
Experience Becomes Our Standard
The Craft Begins

Experience Should Change the Standard of the Work
Decades of working with different rugs have shaped not only what we do, but how we make decisions. Valuable materials, delicate construction, stains, damage, and previous repairs all deserve careful consideration.
Care Is More Than a Service. It Shapes Every Decision We Make.
Professional rug cleaning is about more than soap and water. Proper care requires the right solution, specialized equipment, thorough rinsing, effective drying, suitable temperature, and controlled airflow. Our methods reflect years of hands-on experience—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Look Beyond the Surface
We consider each rug’s fibres, construction, condition, dyes, and history before deciding how it should be treated.
Know What It Needs
We choose the cleaning solution, equipment, and process according to the rug itself—never simply the strongest available method.
Treat Every Detail With Respect
From washing and rinsing to drying and final inspection, every stage is handled with care and attention to detail. The goal is not simply to clean the surface, but to clean the rug properly throughout its structure.
Proper Rug Care Is a Complete Process
Cleaning performance does not depend on one machine, one chemical, or one powerful method. Each stage needs to work together according to the needs of the rug.
- Suitable cleaning solution
- Specialized professional equipment
- Thorough rinsing
- Effective drying
- Suitable temperature
- Controlled airflow
